House Information

Houses are groups of players who share a theme and specialize in a
from. The command 'house list' will list all 9 houses.

Joining a house has several benefits, such as gaining access to house
spells, house point shops, and monthly rewards for reaching house point
milestones. Each house earns house points in a different way (see help
house points). To join a house, visit the respective hall and seek out
the administrator. There you can type 'house join <house name>' and pay
a fee of 25000 gold and 2000 questpoints to become a member.

Newbie House

Every new player starts in this house so that they can help each other
and share their information. Some newbies choose to join other houses once
they have learned the ropes, while others wait until level 50 to
automatically graduate from the house. Any house points that are remaining
upon automatic graduation will automatically transfer over to the next house
that you join. To leave Newbies, you can do so at any time with the syntax,
'house resign'. Those interested in continuing to help new players and
share knowledge after leaving Newbies can petition to receive a Helper flag,
which appears before your name on the who screen (help helper).

House skills and spells:

[1] A self‑cast buff which boosts experience gains.

[2] A self‑cast buff which increases damage by +10.

[3] A buff cast upon you or anyone else that will protect you from dying.
If you get down to 0% health, your health will automatically be healed by
15%. This spell works against both monsters and players.

If you are below level 50 and have left this house, you can rejoin by
visiting the hall and typing 'house join newbies' at Hielach. It is free to
join. Members who are inactive for 90 days or more are automatically
removed from the house.

To write a note to all in the Newbies house, simply set Newbies as the
recipient of the note.

Alchemist House

In this house the expert potion brewers gather together to discuss their
recipes. They are able to brew potent potions, so it is always a good idea
to see what they have in stock before fighting a tough monster. Joining
them will not give you knowledge about all their recipes as there is no rule
that discovered recipes need to be shared among members, but if you want to
become a potion master, this house will help you achieve it. Of course you
don't have to join them to become an alchemist.

House skills and spells:

[1] A self‑cast only buff that increases the number of extra potions you get
when brewing a potion.

[2] A self‑cast only buff that increases the chance of success to brew
potions without them exploding.

[3] A self‑cast only buff that enables you to quaff potions in battle
without spilling them.

To join this house, visit the hall and type 'house join alchemist' at the
Administer of the House. The cost is 25000 gold and 2000 questpoints to
join. Members who are inactive for 182 days or more are automatically
removed from the house.

To write a note to all in the Alchemist house, simply set Alchemist as the
recipient.

Healers House

This house is dedicated to helping other people whenever they can. They
don't discriminate against anyone; as long as you are tired or in need of a
buff, you can count on them. Although they don't live for battles they can
be a powerful partner in taking down a boss as they continuously heal your
wounds and provide powerful buffs.

House skills and spells:

[1] A self‑cast only buff that increases your Wisdom temporarily.

[2] A spell which weakens all monsters in the area by 15% hitpoints and
poisons them. This spell only affects monsters who are not already wounded.

or gold when they die. You don't remove your equipment and you are
restored.

[4] A spell which allows the healer to redirect a portion of his experience
to other members in the party.

To join this house, visit the hall and type 'house join healers' at the
Administer of the House. The cost is 25000 gold and 2000 questpoints to

removed from the house.

recipient of the note.

Luminati House

Nobody knows their way around Erion better than the house of Luminati.
They venture into the deepest and darkest parts of the world to fulfill
their quests, aware of even the most hidden nooks and crannies. In this
house you will probably find someone who knows the way to that hidden
monster or hidden room you've been looking for, but there's no guarantee
that they will reveal their secret knowledge to you, at least not for free.

House skills and spells:

[1] A self‑cast only buff to boost questpoint gains.

[2] A spell that unlocks doors, containers, and portals.

[3] A buff that will allow you or others to find out which area an object
comes from when you lore it.

To join this house, visit the hall and type 'house join luminati' at the

recipient of the note.

Slayers House

Although their members are highly trained killers and their lust for
blood is unmatched, you don't have to fear the house of Slayers, because
they are dedicated to killing monsters only. If you are looking for people
to help you kill a strong boss, feel free to ask them.

House skills and spells:

[1] A self‑cast only buff that reduces damage taken from monsters (and
players, when in the arena, for example).

[2] A self‑cast only buff that increases your scan radius by one room.

[3] A buff which will protect you or others by cutting damage taken in half
when a monster attacks you first. Buff disappears once attacked and is only
effective against monsters.

Administer of the House. The cost is 25000 gold and 2000 questpoints to
join. Members who are inactive for 182 days or more are automatically
removed from the house.

To write a note to all in the Slayers house, simply set Slayers as the
recipient of the note.

Artisans House

The Artisans House is a collection of various explorers, who wish to use
their creative abilities a bit more than their fighting skills. They are
crafters learning a myriad of skills in order to weave baskets, engage in
gardening, mine and smelt ore, bind books, forge weapons and armor, and so
much more. The opportunities are almost endless, as house members grow and
develop, with the rewarding results of successfully making a new object to
sell or use. They are a friendly bunch, so why not come and join.

House skills and spells:

[1] Haggle.

[2] Tenacious gatherer.

[3] Shatter.

To join this house, visit Crafters Forge and type 'house join artisans' at
Coralyn, the Administrator of the House. The cost is 25000 gold and 2000
questpoints to join. Members who are inactive for 182 days or more are
automatically removed from the house. To write a note to all in the house,
set Artisans as the recipient.

PK Houses

House Chaos

Just when you think you know what we're up to, we change our minds. You
think you know what direction we'll go, what decision we'll make? How? We
don't even know until we have started acting. Honestly, we just want to
watch the world burn around us. Or do we?

OOC: Chaos is a "we do what we want because we feel like it" house.

There are no requirements for joining, but no guarantees you will get
accepted, either.

House skills and spells:

[1] A self‑cast spell that cuts the violent timer in half. (help violent)

[2] A self‑cast buff which makes you disappear from the scan command, and
when others type where, they only see your name with ??? Where the room
should be.

[3] A spell which curses all PK players (not in Chaos) in the area you are
in. It also sets both you and the other PKers as violent.

Administer of the House. The cost is 25000 gold and 2000 questpoints to
join. Members who are inactive for 182 days or more are automatically

The followers of Doom bring just that, doom. Doom to the weak, doom to
the corrupt, doom to the world. Might is right. We invite the strongest of
the world to unite to help us prove it.

it is that dies, as long they get to do the killing.

player that you have located them.

gating to you.

them at a 100% chance. If its a player you will have a 50% chance to
follow.

of the note.
Syntax: cast doom <victim>

Those who are affected by the Necromancer doom spell will be slowed,
poisoned, cursed, and given a 10% vulnerability to damage. The effect lasts
for 10 minutes. Those resistant to negative will be harder to doom, and
those immune to magic cannot be doomed. There is no lag after casting this
spell.

House Sacellum

RP:

The Church of Sacellum is dedicated to the victory of the benevolent over
the vile, and the advancement of those who worship at the altar of the
benevolent gods. To that end, we are prepared to do what needs to be done,
be it tending to our wounded bretheren, providing support for others who
share the cause, or taking up arms to directly crush the evil plaguing the
land.
