Multi‑argument target names must be in single quotes.
This spell summons a character from anywhere else in the world into your
room. Characters who are fighting may not be summoned. Monsters do not
like to be summoned and will immediately become hostile towards the caster
after being ripped from their current location.
It is impossible to summon a quest, expedition, or global quest target.
2. summon warrior skeletal
Syntax: cast 'summon warrior' <corpse>
Necromancers can summon skeletal warriors from corpses. If the corpse is
lower level than the Necromancer, the warrior will be raised at that level.
If the corpse is higher, the warrior will be raised at the level of the
Necromancer. The corpse can be no lower than the level of the spell in
order to be useful.
Skeletal warriors have the bash skill, are vulnerable to holy damage,
resistant to negative and cold, and immune to disease and poison. The
warrior is also flagged as undead. Skeletal warrior has a damage bonus
equal to the Necromancer's constitution/30.
At 50% practiced, one warrior can be summoned. At 65%, a maximum of two, at
85% three, and 100% four.
3. summon golem
Syntax: cast 'summon golem'
With this spell, Necromancers summon large stone golems from the ground.
The golem is resistant to magic, weapons, negative, cold and bash,
vulnerable to holy damage, immune to disease and poison, and flagged as
undead. Golems have a damage bonus equal to the Necromancer's
constitution/20. A maximum of one golem can be summoned at a time.
4. summon mage
Syntax: cast 'summon mage' <corpse>
Necromancers can summon skeletal mages from corpses. If the corpse is lower
level than the Necromancer, the mage will be raised at that level. If the
corpse is higher, the warrior will be raised at the level of the
Necromancer. The corpse can be no lower than the level of the spell in
order to be useful.
Skeletal mages cast breaths, are given a damage bonus equal to the
Necromancer's constitution/40, are vulnerable to holy, resistant to negative
and cold, and are immune to disease and poison. They also cast frenzy on
the Necromancer, his or her pets and party members (including their pets) at
random intervals.
At 50% learned, the Necromancer can summon one skeletal mage, at 75% two,
and at 100% three.
5. summon vampire
Syntax: cast 'summon vampire' <corpse>
Necromancers can sacrifice 10% of their hitpoints to summon vampires with a
corpse. If the corpse is lower level than the Necromancer, the vampire will
be raised at that level. If the corpse is higher, the warrior will be
raised at the level of the Necromancer. The corpse can be no lower than the
level of the spell in order to be useful.
The vampire has a damage bonus equal to the Necromancer's constitution/15.
In combat, it attacks its victims with the feed skill. It is vulnerable to
light, holy, fire, and slash damage, resistant to negative and cold, immune
to disease and poison, affected by dark gift and haste, and acts as an
undead creature.
With this spell at least 50% learned, one vampire can be summoned. Once the
spell has been mastered, two can be summoned.
6. summon demon
Syntax: cast 'summon demon'
Using their own blood, Necromancers draw a pentagram on the floor and raise
a huge fire demon from it. In doing so, the Necromancer sacrifices a
portion of their own hitpoints.
Demons have a damage bonus equal to the Necromancer's constitution/10. They
are vulnerable to holy and cold damage, immune to negative, fire, disease
and poison, affected by haste, use the bash skill, cast energy drain and
fireball, and act as an undead creature. Only one demon can be summoned at
a time.
This familiar cannot be duplicated with duplicate familiar.
