Wenig the Scholar pores over an ancient text describing a once glorious
mosaic of the god Lucius that has faded to a dark shadow within his chamber.
He believes its twin lies beneath the sea, itself damaged and missing a
small stone tile, and that restoring it might rekindle the light in both.
His fellow scholars have searched in vain, so he is hoping a capable
adventurer can succeed where they failed, tracking down the missing
fragment, repairing the sunken mosaic, and returning with word of the deed.
It is a task steeped in reverence and mystery, best suited to someone who
has already proven themselves discovering the drowned area nearby. |
