Peril spins a vivid legend about an ancient, monstrous creature said to
lurk in the lake at the foot of Witch's Mountain, cursed centuries ago by a
vengeful witch queen who lost an eye to its claws before binding it there
forever. Half daring, half teasing, Peril challenges any brave adventurer
to prove the old story true by venturing to the lake and bringing back a
scale from the beast itself. |
