Padyma the healer mage sees a grim paradox in her work, the people most
in need of healing live in the worst, most dangerous places, and the healers
sent to reach them keep getting killed trying to free slaves and prisoners
along the way. She has sized up the adventurer in front of her and decided
they look capable enough not to get killed doing the same, and she hands
over the means to track down feathers of liberation and use them to free
eight prisoners scattered around the realm. It is a wide ranging rescue
task rather than a single delivery, suited to adventurers just starting out
but willing to travel and take some risks. |
