| Description |
A blind old lady, too frail to make the trip herself, asks for a small
kindness: carry a letter to the city doctor and bring back whatever medicine
he sends in return. She's lonely and grateful for the company as much as
the help, rambling on about family, mortality, and a mysterious locked chest
of inherited artifacts she hints she might one day entrust to you. It's a
gentle fetch and carry task, the first in a short chain of favors for this
sweet, chatty old woman. |
