Rorca the dwarf sizes you up with a critical eye, testing the give of
your armor with a firm slap before launching into old war stories about the
Monster Colosseum's glory days, back when a real match cost seven lives for
every winner. She grumbles that the place has gone soft now that summoned
demons and actual death are off the table, but reckons a decent fighter can
still make a name there. She sends you off to introduce yourself to Brutus,
the colosseum's current proprietor, to see if he's taking on new
competitors. It's a straightforward invitation to prove yourself in the
ring, suited to a fighter capable of real combat, and Rorca clearly expects
you to hold your own. |
