A lovely Selkie woman gives a beseeching gaze, explaining tearfully that
she fell asleep sunbathing on the beach and woke to find her precious skin
stolen away, leaving her cut off from the sea and feeling like a mere shadow
of herself. She's been searching without luck and hopes a capable
adventurer can succeed where she couldn't, rumor has it the skin may have
ended up somewhere rather gruesome, inside the remains of a ravenous sea
monster. It's a modest task for those still finding their footing, though
it does involve venturing into a monster's carcass. |
