Merciful Intercession allows followers of Velkara to be spared from death
when their end is near. When this gift is granted, Velkara intervenes,
restoring you to 50% of your maximum hitpoints instead of allowing you to
fall. Upon being saved, your body is fortified with a steel skin effect,
reducing incoming harm for up to 12 seconds or 10 hits, whichever comes
first. Once invoked, a cooldown is applied and Velkara will not intercede
again for 1 hour.
