A frazzled gnome recounts a disastrous expedition into a peculiar
labyrinth in the woods, one that seemed to rearrange its own exits at every
turn, separating him from his friend and eventually chasing him off entirely
at the charge of a wild, marauding mushroom. He no longer even remembers
where the maze itself lies, but he knows his friend was carrying a homemade
contraption designed to teleport her straight back to him if they were ever
