Jorri the Jeweler finds herself cornered in her own shop by a gang of
thuggish dwarves in plain black leather, armed with spiked hammers and
furious that she won't keep crafting their ugly commissions for free. As
the confrontation turns violent, she cries out for help, desperate for
someone to drive off the thugs and make sure there aren't more waiting
outside. It's a tense shop rescue that turns into a small manhunt, fought
against the first real evidence of the Thudhammer clan's growing menace. |
