Traigo the blacksmith is a man of few words and fewer complaints, quietly working himself to exhaustion rather than take on the apprentice his partner Theya keeps suggesting. Between quenching blades and grumbling about people who want their weapons pretty rather than practical, he finds himself short on one of several metals he needs for the odd jobs piling up on his bench, whether that is bronze for a farmer's harrow, gold for a sheriff's dagger, brass for kettles and pans, or steel for a mill's broken wheels. He is looking for someone handy with a forge to smelt up a batch of whichever metal he is short on that day and deliver it before he misses another evening at home. |
